Fantasy Football Week 15 Top Picks: Montell Owens, Andrew Hawkins, Nick Foles, Bilal Powell, David Wilson and Greg Little

Waiver Wire

Andrew Hawkins, WR, CIN

The Bengals offense is doing well. Dalton can sling it, AJ Green is Megatron 2.0 and the best young receiver in football, the Law firm of BJGE has been playing well above his talent level, and Sanu is a gritty possession guy…but now he’s injured and done for the year. At this point in the playoffs, finding guys to net some points at even a flex position is gold. What I like even more with Hawkins is he’s playing the beaten down Eagles in Week 15….if you’re still in the hunt, add Hawkins.

Each week Out of Rounds will make selections in the following areas: Waiver wire pick up- these are players that may appear on your leagues waiver wire. “Don’t believe the hype”- these are players we’re saying are playing above their heads and thus will not perform at the levels we’ve seen to date. Undervalued- these are players we believe have upside.

We’re making these picks using the backdrop of leagues we’ve been in for ten years now. These are twelve team, salary cap, dynasty leagues. These leagues have starting lineups that consist of nine active players in the in the following positions; 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2WRs, 1 TE, 1 TE/WR, and 1 flex RB/WR/TE. Reserve slots total 8 players.

Waiver Wire Pick Ups

Mike:

Kevin Ogletree WR, Cowboys– Ogletree and Stephen Hill (WR, NYJ) are the two hot WR pick ups that most are writing about. I’m no different. Hill has more upside long term in fantasy leagues if you can retain him over time. Ogletree plays on the better offensive team and with a significantly better QB. Many criticize Romo, but he’s a top QB and showed it last year tossing +4000 yards with 31 TDs and only 10 INTs. I like Romo much, much more than Mark Sanchez of the Jets. I do think Ogletree can do well as the 3rd WR on this team. he may not produce Laurent Robinson’s stats totaling 11 TDs last year, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes close. Dallas runs plenty of three receiver sets, so he’ll see action.
